Ending this Hiatus

Hi dear reader. It's been a while. In fact I almost forgot that this blog even existed. Sad but true. I will be posting and jotting more shits soon. Thus this post signals my urge to end this hiatus. It's quite weird that my boyfriend is aware of the shit I'm posting here. Uh, hi babe. :)

Cleaning Cobwebs

It has been a reaaaally long time since I blogged. I should post more and escape a little. Since the big thorns are out in my system, let me jot things down.

I am in the Twilight of Midterms and Finals. Seriously, it feels so weird to work on different tasks for different terms. Everything is so surreal. 90% of my midterms exams just ended yesterday. A sense of relief and victory was a jolt in my system. It felt like it was Friday. A new chapter unfolds.

I have been working on my very own scale recently. It is called The Self-Serving Bias Scale. I sometimes call it Gatdula Self-Serving Bias Scale. I need not to explain why. It has technical and methodological procedures that's why it has been so stressful for me. So far, so good. My items were validated and soon enough I will start with my first trial run.

My course in experimental psych has been stressful too. We will work and start on our experiment soon. I am glad we got our participants. If it weren't for my thick face, we would've missed our chance. I got decent empirical papers and enough ideas for our group. Hopefully, we'll finish this course with flying colors. I just hope they read my message on Facebook.

Enough about that, let's talk about savings. I got nada. I want a new bag. A Jansport bagpack to be exact. Sling bags gives me hassle and back pains. The perks.

Here's one thing worth writing. I've been seeing more of Jic lately. I remember, he surprised me with my favorite ice cream and flowers. It was utterly sweet. In return, I surprised him with coffee and pancakes last Sunday. Bonding and dating was a bliss.

The Final Term is about to begin. I'll be working on my reports in Social Psych, Exp Psych and even HTP  interpretations and my case report on Psychometrics. So little time, so much to do. Wish me luck!

Busy as a Bee

Busy me. Infairness, ang daming ginagawa ngayon. Nakakapagod pero at some point nag-eenjoy ako. So far, madami naman akong na-aaccomplish pero hindi ko parin maiwasan mag-procrastinate. Hehehe!

My prelim grades are good. Kaso parang na-buburn out ako ngayong midterms. Hindi ko ba alam kung bakit. 

Recently, I've watched too many movies. Ang pinaka favorite ko so far is yung ONE DAY. I cried buckets. At some point kasi, nakakarelate ako. My boyfriend is my best friend pero para kaming Yin Yang. Opposites. A total union of opposites. Kahit magkaiba, magkasama parin. You'll have to watch the movie to appreciate it. 

Napanuod ko rin yung Serendipity. It was okay. Pero I wasn't all over it. The Raven is a nice movie too. Parang Sherlock Holmes yung dating. Maganda siya! I highly recommend it. 

So far, sa sobrang busy ko...ang laptop ko araw araw ko ng dala sa school. Reports, test construction, blah-blah-blah. Hay nako. Hahaha! Pero ok lang. Masaya parin naman ako. It doesn't make any difference. 

Well, I'm off to a good start! Sana maganda ulit ang results ng midterms ko. Sana tuloy-tuloy 'to hanggang finals. :)

WiFi Campus

The perks of being a college student is very evident in our classroom. Through the internet wifi, we a privilege enough to access to the internet through our personal laptops, phones and even iPods. The fast pacing of changes in this world affects everyone swiftly--technically speaking.

It is my first time to write a blog beyond the comfort of my bed and our neighbor's wifi connection. There's nothing much to write. Everybody's busy doing their own thing. Some are chatting, consulting to our professor, texting, procrastination, reviewing? Which reminds me, I have to review for our quiz later in Humanities. I'm too lazy to open my note, but I'm just caught off-guard with my current arrangement.

In case you're wondering, I am seated in one corner, beside the windows, near a powersupply because my laptop will be dead in due time. At some point, the view is not very exciting. You will see billboards, roofs of rotten buildings and the LRT train covered with ads. Manila can sometimes look horrid because there are too many establishments, the population is too big and the pollution is at some point beyond compare. I think I should stop typing and work with my groupmates. I don't hate Experimental Psychology but it stressing the hell out of me. Prelims will start next week. I guess I won't be posting anytime next week. Wish me luck!

Legend of Korra

Well, I've always loved AVATAR: The Last Airbender! Meet Korra, the new 'headstrong and rebellious' airbender!! I will not spill to many details but I can't wait for Book Two! It's a really good series! It gets better and better! As much as I want to write everything in paragraph form, I chose bullets instead. I like it spontaneous.

• When I found out that there's a new series coming out, I got really excited! 
• What I like about A:LK is everything's new and fresh!
• It's really cool because the animation is better, the story's theme and setting is awesome~ The only negative part is the pacing. Twelve episodes? C'mon people
• Hands-down to the creators! Super smart! My geek genes are tingling. 

Pains and Gains

Today was somehow a fruitful day. Well, nothing out of the ordinary my life passed by normally. I am happy. I actually feel good. Maybe it's because I got a passing remark on my quiz earlier. I wish it would always be like that. I am happy. Very happy, indeed.

As a matter of fact, I should start studying for my quiz tomorrow on SocPsych. But I need to update this blog. I miss typing here! I feel so....me. Well, everybody's asleep and the radio is on. It's really nice to listen to songs in the radio. I feel so normal, minus the pain in my back.

I learned so many things today. I am very blessed to have good and competent professors. For some reason, this radio seems to read my mind. It's currently playing as song entitled ''Way Back into Love''. It's a really nice song. It was pop during my sophomore year in high school. Nice song.

I pray for good grades and happy memories. I feel so optimistic despite the pain in my back. Wish me luck on my quiz tomorrow dear reader. :)

It's been a weird and hectic week for me! Yes, it was hectic!!! For crying out loud ang daming naming inaasikaso sa school. Testing, Expi, SocPsych ayyayyyayyy! Buti nalang weekend na bukas. I feel so fine. Happy atleast. Hahaha Ok, pahinga muna! Review-review soon!
